"Reliable, Dependable, Jack of All Trades Player" on by UNCMAN

Pros: Fantastic sound quality, excellent asthetics, nice buttons, Creative's best menu system yet, built-in speaker, standard USB connector, can browse music by alphabet

Cons: not the greatest video quality-although expected for the price, microphone understandably not as good as my Olympus VN-100

Summary: I have had 10 mp3 players and the Mozaic tops the list. It combines the best elements of my Zen Vision M (sound quality, menu interface, design) with none of the drawbacks (size, weight, Vision M's hard drive and lags). Looked at the new Nano but the reviews on the new Nano are terrible because of the shake to shuffle and the accelerometer while exercising. Also, the Mozaic is a much better value. I have had it for a month now, and for the first time ever, I am thoroughly satisfied with an mp3 player/iPod.

    "decent player" on by laufer72

Pros: great styling, small size, capacity, ability to customize, good sound quality (read below)

Cons: somewhat confusing controls and menus, horrid OEM headphones, lack of dedicateed volume control........

Summary: great little player for the buck, but keep in mind that you would probably going to spend some extra money for a decent headphones on the top of the price.........Sony's NWZ has by miles better headphones out of the box.........

"Outstanding product, I highly recommend" on by Mudiwa0113

Pros: My favorite features are the external speaker, clear, good volume range to use in the car, easy to read color display, long battery life. Easy enough to figure out how to operate without reading the manual.

Cons: FM radio was not clear & the headphones suck. This was not a problem for me because I don't listen to the radio much and never use the headphone that come with devices, I use the soft rubber earbuds that fit in your ear canal and stay in your ears

Summary: I have had a 4 other MP3 players from 1 to 30 gigs and this is the one would recommend. The size is right, the features found on this model are not usually on a similarly priced product. I have used this model for the last 6 months and the unit has malfunctioned twice. The first time it seemed to freeze in the shutdown mode and I let the battery die (36 hours for real) and recharged it and it worked fine. The next time it froze in the recharge mode and I pushed the recently located reset button and is was fine immediately. I like viewing the time in the title bar and I occasionally use the alarm clock. I have not tried the video or photo feature but I will get around to that. I like listening to books that are as much as 10 hours each, the capacity and battery life allow for me listen to several books before syncing the device again. I still have not read the manual and would probably be pleasantly surprised at what I am missing. Outstanding product.
