"Would not purchase another. Creative and me are parting company." on by danielbruce
Pros: Size is good, Sound is great. Fairly easy on batteries.(It has no problem with rechargeables)
Cons: Earbuds are a nuisance, Power switch has limited life span,
Summary: In many ways it was a nice, little player. Sound was good, easy on batts. If it weren't for Creative's poor design with the power switch they'd have a loyal, repeat customer. Im moving on to other manufacturers.

"An OK deal for the price. Popular piece." on by kt_027
Pros: Good design, dimensions, battery life ; better than MuVo. Equalizer option gud.
Cons: Shudve got builtin power option and FM, cud hav better low frequency response, weak battery cover holder.
Summary: A very popular piece. But Local mp3 players hav lot more features for this price lik FM and MP4 and LCD colorscreen too(can play vdo songs)and in built battery. So the extra here goes into brand name , trust and quality.
Good development over the MuVo. Got slimmer and compact. A single piece unlike the muvo.
Gud design too luks better.
The battery cover holder, a tiny hook, is weak and mines already broken. so the cover wont sit on the battery anymore. Now the piece looks so awkward;like a pistol with its barrel cover off; with the multi color battery showing off while the rest of the pice is elegant in white.
The low frequency settings on equalizer hardly effect the output. Although i realise tht to produce bass is difficlut, i think it could be better. The mp3 i got in my sony w700i produces very gud bass.
May b im asking for a lot.You wont be satisfied untill you fit the whole world into it! my comp, phone, all remotes etc..
Anyway a quality piece from a standard company. -
"Good sound, very portable, good value" on by sbhakta35
Pros: Size, sound quality, software is easy to use
Cons: battery cover no longer fits, earbuds are too big
Summary: I bought this a little over a year ago and love it. It's my first mp3 player and I wanted something that was basic, portable, and inexpensive with good sound quality. I initially used it to convert some of my CDs to mp3 format, and it was a breeze with the software. Downloading mp3s was also easy. The sound quality is very good. The small size makes it easy to take along anywhere. I also liked the thumbwheel for navigating the menus. The display is sharp and the backlight makes it easy to read in the dark, but it could be a little bigger.
The supplied headphones sounded good but the earbuds were rather large so I replaced them with more comfortable headphones. Also, after a few months, the battery cover no longer stayed on, so I had to tape one end to keep it shut. -
"This little think kicks ****.............." on by koolaydekid
Pros: Stores exactly what you want it too
Cons: None more than I lost the battery cover
Summary: I had to replace my cd player, because running on the treadmill with a cd player, I was skipping cds left and right. I stumbled across this little thing while actually out shopping for an IPOD. They were out of IPODs, so I was shown this one instead. Now , I wish it were a 1gb player, but I am able to switch my music over onto this with no hassle. The USB hookup sees it as a removable device, and I just cut and paste from my library. NO hassle with drivers or product installation.
One cool perk, I didnt have my pen drive on me and I needed to take my homework from my work computer home, so I plugged this sucker up and put pictures and my word files on it, and it was a nifty emergency "external" hard drive for a quick minute! I love this thing. I lost the battery cover though.. RATS! -
"Fantastic little device!" on by uncapher
Pros: Wide range of various functions. Good at copying CD's from portable CD player, from its own FM radio, from WMA's and MP3's on laptop. Seems to hold about 10 CD's equivalent (512K model).
Cons: Too small to read display. This thing is literally the same size of a refillable cigarette lighter.
Summary: I am reasonably satisfied with this player, but due to limited vision, I can't read its display without a magnifying glass. Ideally it should be in the Zen Micro-sized case. I chose this (Nano) model because of its recording capabilities - which it does very well! Overall sound quality is excellent.
