Pros Size, Radio and 1GB Memory. Also good battery Life
Cons No Bluetooth or connection to car stereo
Summary I brought this MP3 Player because of its tiny size and good reviews from other owners and i must say that creative has done it with this 1GB Player.
The software supplied is so easy to use and install, and transfering tracks to and from the PC is a doddle using windows explorer or the software itself.
I just drag and drop the albums or tracks I want using the USB 2 Cable supplied. The 1GB has enough space for 36 Albums (600 Tracks), My MP3s are at 56kbps
and thats very good quality for a MP3 Player, I also use the same MP3 bit rate for my MP3 Car stereo which sound ok. This creative player also plays WMA tracks and the radio is also usefull aswell. The sound quality on this player is very impressive and the menus are common sence to use, also the battery life is very impressive from a AAA battery. Its a shame this player has not got bluetooth that would round off this amazing inovation. EXCELLENT

Summary This tiny player packs alot of EXTRAS (MP3 WMA, FM- Voice recorder, Shuffle, all or 1 to shuffle repeat. Easy file transfer and enough space to accomidate just about everyone. I have had this for 6 months now and it is still my favorite off all that I have owned! Thank You CREATIVE!
Pros Overall design and functions
Cons Not as stylish as some
Summary This is a wonderful small player with a big 1 gig of storage and a long lasting single AAA battery. I just purchased mine at COMP USA for $149.99 and I think it was well worth it. You can get it now at WalMart for $129.99 and even cheaper on the Web. This player has a very fast start up. It's display is bright and can be easily read. You can toggle through songs very quickly. The headphones included sound very nice. The volume goes up plenty with room to spare. The FM feature allows me to tune in and watch T.V. stations in the gym. I can even preset all my favorite stations. The software is a snap to use and allows you to put music in order. It comes with an armband and even a very nice rubber clip holder for your shorts if you don't like wearing an armband. I purchased this after a dissapointing experience with the Phillips SA178 player. The Phillips was more stylish but it was missing several of the above features. The Creative Zen is the perfect mini player for the sports & fitness enthusiast!
Pros Very light and compact, can rip from any source, UMS
Cons Small screen, included headphones have too large earbuds
Summary I went out to buy a flash player the other day and actually bought an iRiver T-10. I went home and tried to use the T-10 but I then found out it only works with Windows Media Player 10 using MTP which was a dealbreaker for me.
So I exchanged the T-10 for a Zen Nano Plus and now I am very happy. The Nano Plus works with UMS which means that I can just drag mp3's from my Winamp playlist window and drop them into the explorer window for the Nano Plus. That sure beats using having to use Windows Media Player. And I can also use it in Linux with no problems.
You can't create "playlists" with the Nano Plus but you can just make different folders (in the explorer window) and then just scroll through them on the player which is basically the same as making a playlist.
The screen is small but I think this makes the player a little more durable since there is less of a screen to break. As long as I can read the song is all that really matters to me. (Which is why I wouldn't settle on an ipod Shuttle.)
The real question is how does it sound? I think it sounds very good. The sound is very clean and crisp with a nice bass sound as well. I've actually hooked it up to an FM transmitter in my car so I can listen to it on my car stero and it sounds great, alot better than the dashboard cd player. It's also handy that it has a built in equalizer.
I tested out the voice recorder and that also seems to work very well, even at some distance. It also has the ability to rip songs from any source, such as a cd player, by using the supplied cable. I tested this out with the built in synch feature and found it divided the songs up correctly, even ones with small pauses in them.
On the downside the included headphones sound ok but they keep falling out of my ears because the earbuds are so large.
Overall I would have to say it's a nice little flash player. It does the job very well and also has alot of extra features.
