"Great MP3 , Read before you Buy. :D" on by s7imulater
Pros: Backlit LCD Screen , Small Lightweight , Supports Line-In, Nice Scoller
Cons: No rechargable built in Lithium Battery
Summary: I have used this product for almost 2 days now , would like to write up a review for all the guys out there , who are looking for a decent , cheap , quality MP3 Player .
No software is involved , meaning , its just Plug and Play . You can just drag folders of songs into the flash drive , instead of using all this chuncky software , all this conversion things , but it only players .WAV and.MP3 .
This MP3 has nice back lit , it has 18 hr battery life so thats good .
This product on $150 AUS . great sound quality , with equaliser , headphones.
For all the people reading my review , I hope you take this into mind and think about getting this product .
Very neat , only 1 GB , thats all I need , but yes.
Thanks -
"Terrific MP3 player" on by Derald Freeman
Pros: Small, compact, great sound, FM, easy download.
Cons: Manual inadequate, toggle switch tricky, ear buds fall off.
Summary: The Creative Labs Zen Nano Plus 1 Gb had the best reviews of all.
So many features in such a little package! This is exactly what I was looking for.
Positive features: Small, compact, back-lighted display, convenient controls, and replaceable AAA battery after 18 hours. Smart software interface was a snap loading the MP3 player using Win95SE, offers smart compression to choose best formats when saving to player. I had tunes on the MP3 within 10 minutes and had never done it before. Sound quality is fantastic. No mixing necessary. Great FM. I ran the 'auto-scan' feature for the FM stations, it found every one in my area. Comes with armband which web contents did not list. Nice surprise that saved $20.
Negative features: Manual has only 10 pages and leaves you without a paddle. If you can find the CD manual it is better or you can download manual from web. Playlist a little hard to work. Left-right rocker switch also selects when pressed and you often do the wrong thing. Ear buds troublesome to keep in ears and you need to buy better ones at first opportunity.
I couldn't be happier with my MP3. -
"Close to perfect" on by tbcass
Pros: Sounds great, easy to use
Cons: chincy headphones,
Summary: This is my 4th mp3 player and it's probably my favorite (my others are a Gateway, a 20 gig iPod, and 20 gig Creative Zen). It is incredibly easy to use and, with good headphones, sounds great (and loud!). The included ear buds would not fit in my ears properly but then I have never found any that do. The easiest way to load music is to simply drag and drop your files using Explorer or any other file manager. The controls are simple to use and easily accessable. I paid $70 at Staples and there was an included $10 rebate. I know one thing. This player completely blows away the more expensive ipod shuffle.
One note. For some reason the player will not hold more than 500Gb per folder so create 2 folders and fill them both. I have created several folders on my hard drive and when I want a different set of songs to listen to I simply delete the ones on my Nano and drag and drop new ones in. It couldn't be easier. No separate music programs to use, like iTunes or Media player. It gives you complete control which is important to me. -
"Perfect for the gym" on by Sparagi
Pros: Size, features, accessories, price
Cons: For the price....none.
Summary: First, 1 gb at this price (I bought mine at Circuit City for $70 and free shipping). Additionally, this mp3 player is seen by your computer as a storage device. You can use pretty much any media software, which is very admirable, so DRM is not an issue.
This player comes with an armband, ear buds, battery, recording capability and an integrated FM tuner. Oh yah, it can store 1 Gb or around 15 CDs, in a small compact size.
It doesn't have multimedia features like video or images, but who cares. I use this for music and it's great.
Exceeded expectations. -
"I bought this product due to price and have to say i've fallen in love with it." on by randy odom
Pros: Good storage capacity, sound quality, ease of use and attractive looks
Cons: Small screen
Summary: For the money, I don't think you can buy a better MP3 player. Period.
