"Sounds good, but..."
3.5 starson by scooter329Pros: sound quality, price
Cons: lack of screen
Summary: I'm just commenting on the review.
So, someone spends 40 bucks on an mp3 player and your recommending that they should spend 6 times as much for headphones. If somebody is buying an inexpensive mp3 player maybe you could recommend inexpensive headphones too.

However, afew years ago, while im scouting for a reliable mp3.i came to cnet and look for the editor's review and came to a conclusion to buy Creative zen mirco, within 6mths,it was dwn and i gt a 1-to-1 exchange. The following 6mths,it was dwn with the same problem, which i tot its not a big problem.Till i couldn't take it anymore, went to repair it,creative charged me almost half the price i bought it initially. I seriously doubt Creative product. <br>P.S i seldom use my zen mirco, and i use with care.

First of all, I was by no means suggesting the Shure SE310s specifically for this player, merely calling out the headphones that I use for testing as oulined in our "How We Test" document: http://reviews.cnet.com/4520-6603_7-5108371-1.html?tag=txt<br><br>If you are interested to see a list of recommended headphones in all price ranges, I suggest heading over to the Editors' Top Headphones feature: http://reviews.cnet.com/4323-6531_7-6509085.html?tag=dir<br><br>An inexpensive pair that I recommend that is not on that list is the V-Moda Remix: http://reviews.cnet.com/V_moda_Remix_M_class_earphones_silver/4505-6468_7-32096823.html?tag=pdtl-list

you got a good point there. If somebody is looking for inexpensive mp3 players then you cant suggest the sennheissers or the Shures!! Probably creative EP-630 should be worth a thought.. Its a cheap but really worthy earbud headphone..
