Pros I thought over-all it was a good product and I liked the fact you could store pictures
Cons after 5-6 months it froze up... forever
Summary it froze up on a car trip, you couldn't do any thing so your only opption was to reset it, then you'd turn it back on and within a few seconds it would freeze again. It eventualy got to a point where you couldn't even reset it and it would just stay frozen untill it ran out of battery. hooking it up to my computer didn't help either. and as for the rest of the car trip, well, try sitting for 5 hours with nothing to do.
Pros Great user interface, good configurations and looks good.
Cons No radio tuner, joystick get hard to use after a while, it is not compatable with a pocket charger and the battery life is very low when your turning the screen on all the time.
Summary I recently bought a pocket charger so I could charge it anywere but it was not compatable, now that I think about it the only reason a bought it was the price and it was my first mp3 player, I would have been more happy with a ipod for apple not for the price, but for the scroll wheel and if the battery dies I found a website to buy a battery kit. 24 hours out of a ipod and the zen v is rated for 6 but I think it more like 2-4 hours for me.
Pros Small, compact, fits in a pocket easily. Easy to tag music, easy to work.
Cons Joystick is small, and I can't listen to all the songs by a particular artist
Summary I love this Mp3 player. I've had other mp3 players in the past, but when I got this one, I was impressed right away. I love how easy it is to use. It charges extremely quick, and everything is so easy to organize. I've only had it freeze up twice, but I think I was trying to do too many things at once. You can delete music while you're using the player, and it's just overall a great product. I would recommend this to anyone.
"Pretty good"on by iruka*
Pros Small, in-line recording, voice recording, photos, good battery life
Cons no radio or video, joystick CAN get icky
Summary I LOVE this little mp3 player. It's small, cute and it comes with both types of recording abilities, in-line and voice. Very good if you want to get a song from a cd on the spot. It looks simple yet stylish and the screen is excellent. You can change the angle and the easy-to-use software that it comes with allows you to put in contact information (like a phonebook), events (calendar) and time. There's also the timer just in case you fall asleep and you don't want to waste the battery. But I'd say the battery life is excellent. I'm just the type to charge anything overnight, but you can go most of the day listening to it and it'll go for about 2 or 3 days. It has the custom EQ along with preset ones.
Another thing I liked about it was the fact it can show information that isn't in English. I had a couple foreign songs in there...pretty much half of it, and I was happy that it could be shown. It also shows the album cover if it has one. Other wise, it'll show the imformation normally, which still looks really good.
I was very pleased with this and I'd recommend it to people who don't have much money, but are looking for something like this.
Pros good sound, small, I liked the buttons when they weren't making noise

Summary So I wanted an mp3 player to run with, and I got this for my birthday. Since my sister has the plus version, I didn't need to install anything so I plugged it right in. So I waited for it to charge (which only took about an hour, was kind of confused because the instructions said 6...), then I put my music on it. When I first used it, I didn't like the joystick controls at all. Oh well, I can get used to that. I also noticed that it went down to 2/3 battery after about 20 minutes of using it (it's true that I was using the menu a lot, but seriously...). So I plugged it in for the night (thinking that it does need a lot of charging) and picked it up the next morning. This time it took for about an hour of constant listening for it to go down to 2/3 (or how ever much it went down). I thought this thing had a 15-20 hour battery life? My second problem was that it froze up. It has only done it once, but still... I had to use a pin to get it reset.
Now that I have used it for a few days, I am starting to notice some squeaking when I press the back button. Now this is just plain irritating. This makes it look extremely cheaply made, not to mention noisy.
By the way, my sister's 4GB plus has had none of these problems and she's very happy with it.
So I don't know if I got a faulty unit or not, but I would go with the plus any day. It has radio and video in the mix, only for $25 more (not sure about the price).
