  • "An Excellent ipod Replacement!"
    on by royg3n

Pros Excellent sound quality, Easy to use, scratch-free covering, small campact but durable

Cons cant see the screen in direct sunlight, little problems when first time charging it (didnt connect with computer at first), only works with windows xp computers

Summary i had an ipod mini for 2 years but it got stolen, so i had no choice but to look for a replacement that is cheaper since i am low on cash now. This player has a good price for all the things it includes. i could do some of the same things i could do with my mini like add contacts, calender and tasks. When i first used it i noticed how better the sound quality was compared to my mini. Has that rich clear bass, i want, i just my equalizer preset to none, and just put the bass booster on and sounds good enough. With being an itunes user for 2 years, i find using their software not as easy as itunes, but after a day of playing around with it, i got the hang of it. I recommend using windows media player 11, its more easier. The one thing i still have to find out how to do is how to rename my mp3 files that are in my player, because i like to arrange my songs by genre, and with itunes it was easy to rename things on your ipod. Anyone who can help me with this reply please help, thnks. But overall an excellent player. So if your kind of like me who's mini got stolen and lookin for a cheaper replacement try this out hehe.

    Updated
i was letting my friends younger bro who's 15 use it and after 15 mins he crashed it. i was first thinkin it was my creative fault. Then i was watching him how he used it and all he did was keep goin next track while in play mode, without letting the song load, if you keep doin that it'll crash the thing obviously. So ya ppl who are like that slow down when lookin for other tracks or u'll always be pressing the rest button

  • "Had 12 days then just stopped and froze."
    on by cellphone4me

    Pros Screen(hardly)'

    Cons Everything immaginble

Summary I had this mp3 player for 12 days and then ion the middle of a song it just froze and would not do anyting other than sit there on the same screen you could not do anything.
The best part of this was the screen and it was awful if that tells you anything about this whole mp3 player. I paid
$95.00 for this and it was $95.00 to much. Please don't buy this mp3 player for any price I did buy yht zen nano and It works much better and I got it for half the price.
Thank you for listening to me and please take this into your consideration before buying "said" ,p3 player.

  • "Terrible!!!!"
    on by babyrascal

Pros Works great for a few months

    Cons Where do I start????

Summary I bought this player for my wife after being happy with my Zen Extra I bought 3 or 4 years ago. I got it all set up for her. I managed the music for her. After about three months it ceased to respond to anything. Player was completely dead. Creative wants $25.00 for me to send it in and they might replace it. I say no... I'll just go buy another brand of player for a little more money and a lot less hassle and aggravation! Boooooooo Creative!

  • "Awsome MP3... But has some faults"
    on by BrianED

Pros Works with WMA subscriptions..... great photo Quality

Cons no itunes, odd charging, no macs

Summary over all i love that player.... except the no itunes, and the messing up when you unplug from your computer, and no macs...

other than that... ITS GREAT... BUY IT OR DIE.....

  • "A Good Thing In a Cheap Package"
    on by TheDarkerBrother

Pros Excellent music quality, and incredibly easy User interface.

Cons Hardware flimsy and buttons sometimes stick. Screen light doesn't stay on long enough.

Summary This is a good Mp3 player for its price, though I certainly think the Plus would be a better purchase. I've had no problem with the player working, and its very easy to get started and its software is wonderful! However, some of the navigational "buttons" have given me grief. The center piece, or "joystick" simply fell apart, with the plastic white covering falling completely off! I can still navigate, but I have to use my fingernail to get down in there and move it.

Plus, there are times when I press the pause/play button, and it skips to the next song.

Its no iPod, but is a good buy if your just interested in listening to music or taking your pictures on the go.
