"Quirky. When it works, it works well"
Pros: small, easy to use
Cons: full of bugs
Summary: I bought the Zen V to play WMA audiobooks. About 40% of my audiobooks are not transferrable to the Zen. (They play on my PC and transfer to the Rio Nitrus with no problems.) The software provided also seems to have endless loops that even TaskManage... read more >>

The body of the player feels a bit cheap but it's dur... read more >> -

Pros: pretty color screen, lots of storage for the price, decent sound quality, line-in recording
Cons: cheaply made, falls apart easily; software often crashes
Summary: I ordered the Zen V new from amazon.com and in no less than a week, the joystick button split into 2 pieces and got wedged in the slot, the volume button was loose, and the on/off button popped off. I had kept it in a rubber case the entire time! ... read more >>
