Summary: After doing much research on CNet and elsewhere, I not only bought one, but two of these weeks apart. On both of the units the lighting went out so you can't see what your doing. The company wants $25 to just ask them a question. Do not buy any Creative Lab Products. They are a subpar company.

Pros: Size, Weight, Software, Build, Screen, simplicity
Cons: No user replaceable battery
Summary: This Zen V is SOOOOO small, and light, it's amazing... especially since it packing 8gigs of memory! It feels surreal, but works and sounds great. The screen is pretty small for videos, but it's not like I'm going to watch full length movies on this thing. Plus the screen is much better than the screen on the 'nano' (which doesn't even play video).
Overall, I'm glad I got this. As small as some mp3 players get, this one has all the features of the larger mp3 players while boasting the largest memory for a small flash based player… plus it’s SO SMALL! Since it weighs practically nothing, it doesn’t feel like I’m even carrying it around. I don’t know about other people, but I hate having stuff in my pockets… keys, cell phone and a wallet are too much, but carrying this ‘Zen V’ around also isn’t even noticeable, -

Pros: Photos, video and mp3 on a compact device. Value for money.
Cons: Its now broken.... :(
Summary: I'm quite rough with my mp3 players, running and constantly dropping them. This player had worked perfectly for me and I would happily buy another.
Be more careful with yours than I was with mine.... -

Pros: It has voice recording, it small and can fit anywhere. Its easy to find songs.
Cons: When i 1st got it, it wouldnt let me upload songs 4rm my cpu. It took me a while to understand how to put songs on it and i never learned how to put videos on it. It freezes up all the time! and after 1 year it is broke!!! it wont even cut on!
Summary: I dont recomend this product to anyone! you can find better for the same price or cheaper. Its way to small and the joystick is to small and has a mind of its own lol When i put the mp3 player on lock it sometimes freezes and wont come back on. Basically, just keep it moving, this product is no good!

Pros: This is very easy to use, has total volume control, EQ options, easy to use buttons.
Cons: Does need to be reset sometimes, but recalls all of its previous files. Short battery life
Summary: I have had not real problems with mine and am in fact buying another one.
