"Great alternative to I-pod" on by airbrn2b
Pros: Easy to use, good sound quality, good picture
Cons: Small Buttons, poor shuffle algorithm
Summary: I've owned three of these now, starting with a 2 GB, a 4 GB and have had my 8 GB for almost 9 months. The sound quality is good along with the Zen's preset equalizer or with its customer equalizer. With the 8 GB, I can easily hold 2000 songs in a WMA 128 bit format. The few pictures I have on here are clear and in a good quality. I haven't used the video at all though. Battery also holds charge very well.
The Zen does have some small buttons and is sometimes hard to use in that aspect. Also, as with many mp3 players, the shuffle algorithm stinks. Would also be nice if Creative included a wall charger instead of just a USB cable for charging. I picked one up through Dell for a decent price.
I love this product but only Creative carries accessories for it. But Creative also has some great portable speaker systems that compliment the Zen V's plus as a great alternative to I-pod or Zune.
Highly recommend this product. -

"Great size-Form Factor" on by NYCtri
Pros: Small, FM Radio, 8gigs, connects by common USB
Cons: Cheap Feeling, horrible battery life
Summary: This is a great small MP3 player that has horrible battery life and cheap feel.
Great sound.
Worried about Joy stick breaking.
If this product drops in price, you can charge it often, and you are okay with the joystick then this is a great product. -
