Creative Zen Vision:M (30GB, green)

Pros: Video playback is truly amazing, music sounds great and very convienent

Cons: Scratches easily, the scroll pad might be frustrating in the beginning till you get used to it

Summary: Okay, heres the deal.

This is definently an iPod killer. I have been looking for an digital player for about 5 months. Just as im about to make a desicion, something newer would come out, and just kept getting me frustrated.

When i laid eyes on the Zen Vision M, i was of course astonished. It might seem thick, but its not thick at all. Its colors are far more and brighter then those of the iPod.

I bought a Zen Vision M, and my 2 brothers bought the 5G iPod. Looking at both, I of course love the Zen more. The iPod yes is much more sleek, and more comftorable in the pocket, but sometimes it seems to be too thin. This is just good enough. It is not heavy at all, and is very cool to hold in the hand.

The only thing thats bad about the Zen, that i thought was it gets scratched really fast, and way too easily. And in the beginning upon purchasing it, you will get anoyyed from the scroll pad. But once you get used to it, its far better then the iPods.

For all you die-hard iPod fans, please dont rate the Zen Vision, with 1's and 2's because you think they copied off of the iPod system. Who cares, if they did. They made something better, and thats all that matters. The Zen has far more options that are much more convienent for the average mp3 buyer.

The bottom line is to buy the Zen if your looking for a good Video, Music and Photo player. The brightness of the screen, sound of the music and the video playback is just far more then anyone has ever thought to be on a portable media player.
