Pros It was good while it lasted, good battery life, great sound quality.
Cons It broke 13 months later and Dell won't help me with it, so now i have a $450 paper weight. Thanks a lot Dell! (this probably goes for all Dell products)
Pros Worked for one year
Cons Hard drive failed 1 week after the warranty expired. Dell refused to fix it, only send me a refurbished one for $250, more than I inittially paid for it. If you want reliability, stick with the IPOD
Pros When it works it's ok although not great.
Cons It breaks every 2 months (twice already). Customer support is just a sham. Unless you have to please do not buy it.
Pros cheaper than other players with same features.
Cons I bought a DJ a few months ago, and was so excited about it. the first day i got it, i uploaded 500 of my 800 mp3s before i noticed bad things happening. the musicmatch software froze up and refused to transfer the rest of my mp3s onto the device. keep
"One-line summary"on by badproduct
Pros Holds many songs
Cons Often freezes up...makes good paper weight
Summary The capacity to hold songs made a first good impression although DELL could've done better with the interface software. If you are planning on getting one of these, you'd better plan on buying extended warranty or you'll be out of luck. After the first three months, the DJ started to freeze up more and more until one day it would reboot or powerdown, or play songs, just paperweight. I had to resort back to my Sony NetMD player which has been far superior in reliability and not skipping and freezing up. If you're thinking about buying a DJ, yo better look around good. If you already have one and haven't had problems, just wait. You pay for what you get.Updated
On my previous posting, I meant to say, that the DJ would NOT reboot, powerdown, or play songs.
