    "The Neuros is AWESOME!" on

Pros: Everything about the Neuros is a step above the iPod. I had a 40GB iPod which was great for what it was, but then I added the iTrip, etc. etc. With the Neuros, it's all in it plus I got 80GB for the same base price as the 40GB iPod.

Cons: The only thing I've found that I'm apprehensive about is the "removable" player. I think I'm going to break it. It would be nice to have an easier interface, but if you don't need to move it between "backpacks" (the HD assembly) there's really no reason

"Why not just carry your comupter with you!?!?!?" on

Pros: Read the list, but wait!

Cons: I carried it around with me for a full month and the thing is freakin HUGE! Its like carrying around a radio strapped to a desktop hard drive. You dont want to bump it for fear of damaging it and you dont want to get anything on it either. The FM trans

"Neuros is awesome" on by rcossebo

    Pros: Sound is the best

Cons: Size is a little daunting, but doesn't feel like you could snap it either.

Summary: I am really waiting for the next generation Neuros (the N3) which is supposed to be a smaller unit and better quality. The latest discussions regarding the N3 can be found at http://www.theneuros.com/index.php/Category_Roadmap:Neuros_III

"Never leave home without it!" on by DjRoyalT

Pros: Broadcast feature is HUGE! Easy on-line updates to firmware, pitch-control allows you to speed-up or slow-down a song during playback.

Cons: It's too bulky for a clip, but there are other ways to carry it.

Summary: I've owned a Neuros 20GB since July 2003, and still think it's one of the best, if not THE best MP3 player available. Sure, the iPOD is the "it" player with the masses, but for pure quality and features, the Neuros is as good as it gets. Like many new products, it had it's drawbacks in the beginning, but Digital Innovations encouraged feedback from it's Neuros users to find out what they liked, didn't like, as well as any features they would like to see added. These requests are added to their firmware updates, which can download automatically to your Neuros during sync, or manually if you prefer. The broadcast feature is what sold me, though. I can listen to my music through my car radio without hook-ups, then take it with me and jump in my friends car, tune his car stereo to the same channel (frequency) and we're off and running! Stop at another friends house, go inside and tune the home stereo to the same frequency - and now we're jammin' inside. It's just too cool and too easy! If you really want to great MP3 player, get the Neuros and leave the iPOD to the rest of the cattle!
