"Perfect for 1st grader"
Pros: doesn't turn up too loud, tough, stories
Cons: batteries don't last long, have to buy songs off line
Summary: This is perfect for my 7 year old son. He loves it. I found that it works great for travel when I really don't want to listen to kidz bop. The rip feature allows for us to make cd's then copy those his player. Yes it is an extra step but in the long run it saves us much more money. The batteries don't last long and I would reccomrnd purchasing recharable batteries. Other than that this is a okay for our first graders first mp3 player
