0.5 stars Pros: It does play music and it has FM radio.
Cons: The rubber tip comes off and can get stuck in your ear. The metal tip can break and also get stuck in the ear canal. No explanation needed.

Summary: I used the FA 1 gig Sport almost every day last summer. Although the sound wasn't muchand the controls cumbersome, I was able to listen to my playlist while sunning in the pool. It was durable and spent an occasional 5 minutes under water without problem. All in all, I was pretty satisfied.
My wife need an MP3 player also, so I purchased the FA 512 DMP. I copied an audiobook to it and it worked well for 2 days. Now every time I plug it in via the USB cable, Drive Unrecognised message results. I tried 3 computers and 2 different cables. $150 was alot to spend on 2 days of use.
The best solution I found for listening to music at the pool is DryPro's water resistant pouch. I bought it at Walmart in the discount aisle. It was marked down from $20 to $2 so I bought all they had. An Ipod fits in there and it stays dry. Sound quality excellent and are controls better.
