"Deffently think twice before buying this product ! Please READ !"
Pros: It worked for a little while. Ear buds are nice.
Cons: Only works with WMP10. A lot of times will not let me safely disconect from PC(saying its still connected to PC program). Feels very cheaply made. Color screen is quite useless.
Summary: This is a overall awful product. When I first received it I had my hopes up quite high, but when I started to use this Gateway made paper weight all of that changed very quickly. First it will only transfer music with Windows Media Player 10, Second in turns off when every time it feels like - sometimes it will stay on and just freeze up, untill I eather pull the battery or hit the microscopic reset button with a paper clip. All of this does not just happen every once in a while but at least every other time I turn it on. The battery life is pretty bad it lasts only up to five hours at most. Avery time the player is in sunlight or in my hot car for more than 10 minutes the screen will just go out/it turns completely white. The screen quality is very poor but kind of cool to look at. Overall this thing has no value what so ever. I called Gateway to see if I could maybe get a replacement, but I am not the original purchaser - so they wtill not even talk to me ! Thakns ! Shame on Gateway to put out such an awful product, do they have any sort of quality control? I guess not ! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
P.S. It turns itself off every time you barely shake it/kind of like the first CD players did about ten years ago.

Gateway needs to stick to making desktops and laptops. I do not think they are quite cut out for making smaller gizmos like MP3 players. I think Apple has the high jump on them in that area. There needs to be better support for this product and availability of replacement parts.

Wow... I thought their latest player would've been better than the one I had (DMP-X20). But most of the problems you described having, are the same issues I had to deal with on my older model!
