"Excellent value, strong contender with minor quibbles"
Pros: Featured rich, enjoyable UI, beautiful screen, great software
Cons: Poor instructions, whish wheel could be used to fast forward
Summary: This MP3 player is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a flash player with more features than the Nano. This player is solidly built, has excellent sound and picture quality and is packed with every feature imaginable. The scroll wheel is is the best I've ever used (better than Apple's or the Sansa's); It is ruberize and you can feel it move through songs without looking as it provides a very satifying click feeling and just the right amount of resistance to let you know you are moving through your collection.
For software, this player uses windows media player, which I think is the only viable alternative to iTunes. What I really like though, is that the player comes with software to convert your movies to the proper format for the device. The program is simple and works wonderfully.
There are so many strong contendors for a feature rich competitor for the Nano (Clix, Sansa, Zen). You'll likely be happy with any of those choices. I was swayed by the top notch scroll wheel and increadible screen. I think the interface is the last major distinguishing features for MP3 players and this one was perfect for me.
