"Unbiased actually owner!"
Pros: clear, crisp and bright screen. perfect size for jeans pocket. looks very cool. easy to use controls. fun to use
Cons: click noise from buttons, casing, usb port, no expandable memory, some video converting problems
Summary: This is the first PMP that I have ever purchased so I did alot of research prior. I was torn between the Clix2 and the new Sony Nw-A800 series. The original Clix recieved such great reviews I figured that the Clix2 was a no brainer as it had a large community backing it.
Anyways I made my decision, I ordered the Clix2 from the iRiver website and I recieved it within 2 days (and I'm in Canada!).
When I opened the box I was very surprised at the actual size of the product, it's very small and cool looking. So I fire up this little bad boy and I know it's called a Clix but I have to admit, I'm not a fan of the clicking noise the buttons make. Anyways, the screen looked great! great color and resolution and not alot of glare in light, and the controls were very intuitive.
The software was very easy to install and use, it's nothing fancy but does everything you need to get your files on the device. The first thing I tried to do was put one of my favorite one hour tv shows on the player. I pluged in the usb into the player and noticed that it was a very tight squeeze, I almost had to force it in. So I converted the AVI file to MPEG4 and it was automatically placed on the player. I put in the earbuds and pressed play...the video was looking good, but I noticed the sound did not match the video! it was elapsed by a few seconds, not a good first impression. So I tried other videos and some worked ok, but others had the same problem...I dont know if this was my fault, the converting program, or the devices processor...any ideas people?
But besides the clicking and converting problem I have nothing else bad to say about the player. Sound quality is good to great and the flash games are quite fun. Like I said this is my first PMP player and I'm not disapointed it does everything I want and is small and cool.

I am so glad to hear that someone had good feedback about fast shipping to Canada! I was hesitant to hear that this could be purchased online only, but perhaps, after hearing this, I'll be more open.
