"Very good player for the money."
Pros: Good sound. Fairly simple to use. A decent amount of EQ options. Nice screen size and clarity. Expansion slot for Micro SD. Many features!
Cons: Cheap headphones!!! The USB cover keeps falling out. Some menus have a lag time. Plastic construction feels a little cheap, but not bad. Would be nice if it had album art thumbnails in menus.
Summary: This player is great. It was less than the Sony 4GB E-Series plus it has a memory card expansion slot for Micro SD. The stock headphones are horrible. I tried the headphones that came with my wife's Sansa Clip and they sounded way better. I am currently using a pair of Sony earbuds from a voice recorder and it sounds really good. Some menus have a lag time, but that is mostly when you view all songs, which takes too long to navigate anyways. Would be nice if it had album art thumbnails in the menus like the Sony. I was either going to buy this or the Sansa Fuze, but the Fuze was more, was ugly, and the silver coating on the 8gb was flaking off of the demo at Best Buy. The unit is well worth the money.
