"Its Great Design, but it suffers from bad choices."

by Durfen on August 4, 2005

Pros: Small, Nice EQ, FM, Voice Recorder, Color Screen, Pictures

Cons: No Set Volume, Freezes, Slow, Non-Removable Battery, Bad Support, Id3 tagging is messed up.

Summary: I like how it is very small. i also like the SRS Wow, i use that instead of the EQ. I dont really use the voice recorder, but it is pretty good quality and can pick up things pretty good. FM quality is nice, and you can record from the radio too. The color screen is smaller then they say it is, because their is no way that is 1.8" diagonally. If it is i am the queen of england. As for the pictures...well i've never gotten one on, whenever i try to it says their is a error.

that brings me to using windows media player to sync it. which really sucks. but its not the mp3 players fault, its WMP10, so i don't count it against it. I think it drags and drops too.

    BUT...

No removable battery, you need to use the USB Cable with the power cable to charge it (stupid!), bad customer support because it takes about a month for them to respond, but it is helpful when they do respond. The ID3 tagging is messed up, because sometimes it doesn't get what you put in their, and makes it Unknown Artist, and to fix it you have to delete the File, make sure its tagged right, then put it back on, because you can't rename the files on the H10, which really sucks. The battery is so-so. I am looking for a new one, one that plays movies. I recommend this is your patient, because its a pretty good player, and if your patient with its mistakes then you shouldn't worry at all.

Just a suggestion here ... Durfen would be well-advised to take a college course in remedial English Composition.
