"One Step Forward, Two Steps Back"
Pros: Small size, nice screen, comes with case, good sound
Cons: No more removable battery (Boooo!), no zoom function for pictures, proprietary software,
Summary: This is still one stylin' piece of hardware. The screen is lovely, the controls work well and I like how it sounds.
However, I dislike the USB cord that it comes with (which also is used to recharge it) as it's a chore to carry it around if I want to transfer files to and from different computers.
I also dislike that the battery is not detachable like the 5 gig H10 (whyyyyy?).
The picture viewer is a nice plus but without a zoom function it isn't really worth it to keep any high quality pictures on the drive anyway.
And requiring windows XP to recognize the device on different computers is a definite negative, since not everyone uses XP.
Still, it does it's main job (to play music for me) very well and it's easily portable. So I still like it but it could definitely be improved.
