"Great way to listen to Yahoo Music"
Pros: Nice size, good battery life, great FM radio, sound shaping options are nice
Cons: Controls can be a little confusing, supplied case is unusable
Summary: To my ear the iRiver H10 has really good sound quality. It is small an inobtrusive in my pocket, which is good because the rubber-like case is unusable. Once it's on your belt you can't take it off easily, nor can you slide the H10 out easily. So unless you're listening to a play-list that is really long, it's impractical to take it out/off and select a new album, etc. I bought it because I use Yahoo's subscription music service and it is one of the few players that supports it. Transferring music is simple and fast. So far the whole licensing thing is being done in the background. I enjoy NPR as well as music so having an FM radio was a must for me. The sound quality and reception of the FM radio is quite good. You can record radio content as well, although it requires that you manually start and stop the recording. I found it a little tricky to learn the controls. It goes into sleep mode really quickly, which means you always have to press a control to wake it up before you can use any of the controls. Sometimes it falls asleep and sometimes it actually turns off. I can't tell the difference but the way you bring it to life is different. There are various ways to "shape" the sound: lots of presets and you can manually set them as well. These really help the sound quality.
