"Better than any iPod I have used"
Pros: Looks great; plays great quality; easy to use; no iPod problems
Cons: slightly bigger than an iPod mini (but then again, it should be with 20GB); no games...
Summary: I have used many iPods before. My sister and mother both have iPod minis. And after going through that debockle, I decided to go straight to a product that is designed to work with Windows Media Player (in my opinion, the only software Microsoft makes that works). All I can say is that it does exactly what I want it to do. I turn it on, plug it into my computer, and it starts syncing automatically. Didnt press any buttons, didnt set any settings... it just took all my music and put it onto the player which is exactly what it should do. Plus, the connection is so fast that my 700 songs were put onto the player in around 15 minutes.
The display is nice and clear. Regardless of the size of the screen, it is easy to read and displays very vibrant colors. So far, no problems with crashing or stalling. It just works... seems like a rare thing lately. Plus, the FM radio and recording feature is awesome. Dont have a song and dont know the artist? Record the song from the radio... not the best quality, but you have the song... for free!
Simply, put: it works. It does everything it claims to do. The only negative is that iPods have games which were pretty enjoyable.
When I have seen all the iPods I have touched go away in the mail for repairs (supposid corrupted files and what not) and never sync with iTunees (terrible program), this iRiver is a God-send. Most definately recommended.
