Summary: Bad:
- Non-standard behind-the-head earphone design.
- Mysterious user interface. 16 effective button combinations (3 on top, up, down, left, right, center, each with tap and hold-down varieties) working differently in each of 5 modes (mp3, radio, recording, menu, file list). It was hard to remember what does what. The labeling is useless.
- Awkward user interface. Moving my finger from the joystick the the buttons without looking at the player was hard.
- Fragile. I dropped it a few times and the joystick just stopped working, making the player unusable or usable only with great patience.
- Software doesn't allow you to reorder the files.
- Low memory.
Good:
- Earphone quality
- Plays the audio from an ASF video file.
- Sometimes played the audio from an SWF file.
- The display.
- Compact size.
- Lots (too many?) customizable settings. -

Pros: Radio, Voice Recorder, Radio Recorder, Small, Easy To Use, Great sound quality
Cons: Uncomfortible in pocket, Radio antenna is headphone wire (as with all MP3 players), Only 128mb (other models with more memory availble)
Summary: I have had this player for over a year it's great! Battrey door never pops open, Radio, Voice Recorder, Radio Recorder, Small, Easy To Use, Great sound quality. What else can I say. The only thing I dont like about it is it is hard to fit comfortible in your pocket and it only hold 128mb but there are other models with more memory availble.

Cons: Headphone jack broke internally and Unit was rarely used. Sent email to iriver support to find out where to send unit for repair in Canada. They never responded
