""Best value for the sound and options""
Pros: The hold button ( keeps mistakes from happening)
Cons: Toggle switch is a little sensitive
Summary: For a novice, i had my IRiver running in no time. The software is trouble free. The software says it is for windows 98se and above, but i run windows 98 using windows media player 7 and have had "no" problems. The editing software lets you arrange folders and songs as you wish. The EQ settings are accurate as well as your own "user EQ" mode. This mp3 player has a terrific user menu that allows a lot of different ways to cue your music selection (fade in fade out). There is also a speed setting to allow the user to scan fast or slow through the menu's options. The "hold" button is a must. After you start your music selection to play you can enable the hold button and regardless of the switches or buttons you press it will not effect the mp3 players mode it is in. So you can listen to your music and not accidently hit a wrong button while it is playing
