"Even Though It's Old - Great MP3 Player!" on by jguthart
Pros: Great sound, rugged, firmware updates
Cons: Older Model
Summary: Even though this is an older MP3. It still is extremely rugged and has fantastic sounds. The firmware is easily updated and fixes earlier problems documented by others. I have had two newer MP3 Players by Samsung and Sandisk and end up using the iRiver 390T most of the time because of its better sound. I have had for over 18 months and use daily exercising and just listeining to and have had no problems.

"Great Player, best features" on by luckybear
Pros: cheap, fm,voice, sounds great
Cons: poor battery life, limited storage
Summary: This is a great mp3 player. I see very little problems with it. It sounds great and by now the price sound be cheap. I paid $140.00 two years ago, so it sound have dropped quite a bit.
I would recomend to anyone the iriver mp3 player, i run and this will never skip, it's tough as nails (dropped kicked ect) and unlike my brothers i-pod, you can listen to the radio and record voice.
The only problem is somewhat poor battery life, they claim 24 hours+, but thats with the volume down and eq settings at "normal". I get around 15 hours.
Forget i-pod nano pick up this or a newer version i-river. -
"A great little player" on by venneman
Pros: Small size, great sound
Cons: Only four hours memory
Summary: My wife and I both have these players, and except for a few minor things, we couldn't be happier. I would like a little bigger memory, and the armband could be a little longer, but the sound is excellent and the interface is pretty easy once you get to know how many times and which buton you push to get the random playlist...

"Very satisfied. Would recommend" on
Pros: Sounds very good. Easy to use features, once you get used to the menus. Easy to transfer songs to the player. Armband and case work very well. Overall very satisfied.
Cons: Not expandable. 256 mb was good when it first came out, but definitely obsolete now.
