"this is one amazing MP3 player"
Pros: very good menu system, well designed, well constructed(ive dropped is coutless times and it still works fine) many good recording options, looks very cool
Cons: software is weak(though i rarely use it since windows media player is also compatible) does not act as a USB key

"How could anyone complain? Great item."
Pros: Reasonably small. Excellent battery life. Good sound. Software is easy enough to use. FM tuner works really well. Lots of accessories included, as well as well-written manuals on how to use the item.
Cons: 128 megs is somewhat limited, and not having a memory card slot can be a drag, but for the price this isn't a huge issue. I have no idea why people have complained about the software - it's intuitive and easy to use (drag and drop). I had this device up

Pros: Virtually all reservations allayed - highly recommended.

Pros: easy interface (when it works)
Cons: interface often doesnt work. I try connecting the playe rto my computer, but the iRiver software still thinks the device is "disconnected" even tho the PC knows its there.

Pros: Sounds fabulous, portable,reliable,tons of features,battery lasts a long time
Cons: battery cover snap is suspect and the accessories are a waste of material, also ear buds did not fit my ears
