A friend of mine bought one for me for 20$ off craigslist for my birthday about a year ago. I haven't had any problems with it at all. I beleive it is also possible to replace the hard drive with a larger one though I have yet to try it. 1.5 gb is plenty music for a day anyway. It can also store anything else you want to put on it. The design is a little weird and no it doesn't record voice. I'd get an i river over an i pod that's just gonna break down anyday!!!
