"Great for a first MP3 player, even though it may be hard to learn the button functions at first."
Pros: Picture support. AA batery. One hand usability.
Cons: No playlist ability. Earphone foam cushions come off easily.
Summary: To start, this a a very good MP3 player. The combination of features and (eventual) ease of use will make this one great for anyone who knows a little bit about electronics. One note is that it requires Windows XP to run, but that should not be a problem for most people. Also, this player may be large in comparision, but it is still SMALL. Nobody should be complaining about the size of this player. It fits right into the plam of the hand and is held sort of like a gun. I find this very convenient. For the design, it has to be this large. Otherwise, it would require two hands to operate, being lost in the fist of your hand.
Pros:
Sound quality. This player sounds Awsome! Its much better than any CD player I have ever used, and on par with, if not better than, any iPod (I have tried the iPod Mini, Original, and Shuffle).
Picture support. This is a very cool feature. Hardly any players in this class have the ability to view pictures, and the T10's low resolution can be forgiven by the fact that it has it in the first place. Files are in .bmp format.
AA battery. This is a big plus, since you will never have to worry about an internal rechargable battery which will eventually lose its recharge ability. The added weight is no problem at all, since the player itself weighs about half of one battery.
One hand usability. Sure, it does take a while to get used to the controls (for me it took 1 hour), but once you get it, everything will click. I find myself zooming through the menu and song lists without a thought. Most of the time I don't have to look down, my thumb knows its way around.
Windows Media Player. Its just so simple to add your songs! For me this is a great plus, I love to use WMP for just about everything I do, and transfering songs was as easy as click and drag, then press Enter. The songs zip right on, about one second per song.
Cons:
No playlist ability. One of the only setdowns for this player, I wish you could add select songs to a "favorites list," but its not all that bad, with 1GB of memory its east to sort through and find any single song in a moment.
Earphone foam cushions come off easily. Yeah, I lost the first one in the car after about 2 hours, luckily you are given two replacments. It hurts my ears to use it without them, so I can't really use it when they fall off.
