"Great player with tons of features but navigation buttons are difficult"
Pros: Perfect sound: crisp and powerfull; easy to load MP3s on to player; the case and armband are awesome; FM tuner is easy to use once programmed; tons of playback options; bright screen
Cons: the control button used for navigation is small and takes focus to operate; the usb port is covered by a rubber flap the tends to just stay open after using it
Summary: Overall this is a great player. The sound quality is incredible. I use the player at the gym and navigating to different folders and skipping forward is a little difficult because the controller is a little small; this is especially noticeable when using the arm band. The arm band is comfortable and the case fits snuggly on the player and looks great, you'd be foolish not to use it (I've seen other cases that look like hell; the armband and the case come with the player).
I don't use any subscription services but apparently the T-10 works with most. I just drag my albums as folders onto the T-10 (you can access the device in 'My Computer' when the usb is connected). There are no drivers to install but the T-10 will only work with Windows XP SPK 1 or higher. The player comes with Windows Media Player 10 which allows you to 'sync' playlists but I'd rather just drag the files than bother with WMP 10.
A design feature I am not happy about is the rubber flap that covers the usb port, I hate these things, they never seem to stay closed. You can observe this if you watch the editors video review of the T-10. I think it bothers me more because on previous irivers they have used a more durable built in plastic cover that slips to cover and uncover the usb port.
Once you get the FM stations programmed on the player using listening to the radio is a joy. The sound quality on the FM tuner is impressive as well.
