"Full functionality for half the price"
Pros: very attractively priced while still offering full functionality, including some funcitons (FM radio, dictaphone, line in, etc.) that you won't find on other players), excellent image playback
Cons: slightly long boot up - but with that battery life, you might want to leave it on anyway...
Summary: This is a very attractively priced PMP which still offers full functionality. Actually, it offers some funcitons (FM radio, dictaphone, line in, games, etc.) that you won't find on other more expensive players - and certainly not all in one device.
The MPŁ player function is probably the one you'll use most. It is easy to navigate through the folders to pick songs you want unless you just want to listen to "all" or play at random. Since the files are organised in folders like in Explorer it would be great, if you could limit the random play function to a particular folder only.
Otherwise, it is really easy to use, no matter which function you are interested in. It hooks up without a problem to my Apple as well as my Windows laptop. The line in cable allows you to record from analog sources, while the small USB cable allows you to hook up a digital camera to either transfer files or to view them on the K-Pex screen which is most likely giong to be bigger and brighter than the one you have on your camera.
It has excellent image playback and the fact that you need to convert some video formats first isn't too much of a hassle (the inside of the box tells you that you shouldn't do that with copyrighted material...)
I love it.
