Pros - Comes with earbuds (really crappy ones but they're free so it's all good)
- Low cost
Cons - Buttons are hard to press.
- Instruction manual is incorrect and confusing
- Corrupt software/firmware
- The battery life is VERY short
- It takes FOREVER to charge
- Navigation sucks
Summary This thing sucks. It takes almost six hours to charge and unless it is fully charged it won't work. At first I thought I just got a wonky one but when I looked on Google I realized a lot of people have the same problem. Also, unless you download your music directly to the root your music won't play. I had never bought an MP3 before and this one advertised so much for so little I figured it wouldn't be entirely legit but I was surprised by how seriously sucky it turned out to be. I bought it for my little sister so she would have something to listen to on the plane but it took us a couple days after we bought it to figure out how to make it work. Other MP3's may be more, but they are definitely worth it as I had to put in much more time and effort into trying to get this thing to play then I should have. Don't buy it, you will be sad (and more than slightly frustrated.)
Pros Light weight
Comes with earbuds
Cons Buttons are hard to use.
Manual is vague or incorrect.
Summary The manual the came with this player says that it interacts with Windows Media Player. It wouldn't. The manual also said it would work as storage device. It won't. Package said it was a video player/radio/mp3 player/recording device. The only software it appears to contain is for audio mp3 use, but since I can't download any data to the device, it only plays nothing. Went to the website to see if I was doing something wrong, but anything listed under how to or help has been removed or was never put up in the first place. If I hadn't bought it at a chain store, I would think I had just been sold a fake item with a light up screen. As said above, you get what you pay for. I bought this to give to my 5 year old for in the car, so I wasn't looking all the advertised bells and whistles. I did expect it to work, though. Glad I tried it out before giving it to him.
Pros Low Cost
Easy to Use
Cons Can only play limited amount of formats.
The battery life and recharge time isn't good.
Navigation could be better.
Summary How much you will like or hate this MP3 player will depend on how important an MP3 player is to you. For me I only use it for long commutes to work or if I ever need music on the fly.
If you are a hardcore MP3 person you will probably not like this one. It can only play one type of video format(AMV), doesn't support MP4 or flash either. It's nothing compared to an iPod.
If all you want is to be able to listen to music on the fly and want something affordable, this will probably be okay for you.
Pros The only this player has going for it is it's light-weight.
Cons There's no logic to the navigation. Forget about playlists. It will play one song at a time. There is no continuous play. It was supposed to come with a video converter software but it didn't. There was other software installed on it but was corrupt.
Summary The manual was written by someone who doesn't speak proper English: "Now Playing-it shows the song what you are listen".
The website is useless. What a waste of money, time and effort it took trying to get the stupid thing to work only to end up in the trash.
