"Meizu is the new King"
Pros: Great Screen, Great Layout, Non-scratch surface, Price
Cons: Navigation was tricky at first, No synch software, no playlists
Summary: I just got my own Meizu in the mail yesterday, and I am so impressed with this tiny device! Using included software, I was able to encode my video for the Meizu (which saves in a format that takes up 2/3 less memory). I was also able to quickly copy my music and photos to the Meizu with no problems. This is, without a doubt, better than any iPod I've ever had or seen, and this little device makes me never want to see another terrible Apple product. It's sturdy, tiny, and very functional. The manual was a very nice inclusion, but the software included was lacking. There was no easy-synch software (like iTunes) that I was used to using. Also, the navigation was a bit tricky at first, and is very peculiar (and in some instances non-sensical and confusing). Its design is semi-original, but the marketing, packaging, etc. is a rip-off from the iPod. If Meizu gained its own destinctive style, fixed the software issue, and worked out its navigation, I'd give this MP3 player 9.5/10. For now, I give this MP3 player 8.5/10.Updated
After using the Meizu for 6 months, it just freakin fell apart. Touchpad goes nuts and controls itself, the player freezes all the time, and the headphones broke just a month ago. ***?
