"Avoid this MP3 Player" on by JElbare

    Pros: Looks good

Cons: Very hard to set-up and use

Summary: I spent aboit 3 hours trying to get this working. The user manual and online help were sparse and did not address my problem. Set-up documentation was unclear and confusing. I am returning it to the store in the morning.

"Nice package with poor longterm functionality" on by Blades1x

Pros: Plays movies, has a nice DJ (playlist) system

Cons: Buttons hard to press, no off/on switch so even with auto turn off the battery still drains on its own, unable to charge via direct AC/DC it must be connected via USB to a computer to charge

Summary: Its odd shape and poorly configured button layout are the first things i noticed, and struggled with. Merely trying to hold it to view the screen and i was accidentally pressing the volume buttons constantly. I bought a mobile USB charger and wall charger and neither work. Since there is no On/Off switch you have to rely on the auto turnoff which still keeps it running and draining the battery for multiple minutes after use and making it take forever to start back up. The playlist DJ is nice but would be more convenient for a more intuitive playing style without having to spend all the time pre-programming (which you have to do or you play everything on the player with no real rhyme or reason). Also, very buggy, within 3 days of use it had "boot errors" and I was totally unable to use it. Bottom line - this player will give you more headache than its worth. I am returning it today and buying a Sansa.

"lasted less then 4 months" on by Bowfinger63

Pros: Record voice or FM is nice. I guess the mp4 playback is nice ,but I could never get it to work. The screen was large enough Dj playlist was nice. the price was Cheap (black friday sale-$25.00) now I know why.

Cons: Buttons were a little hard to navigate, & the record button got pressed more times then I care to remember. Yes I know It has a lock., Battery life was only about 4-5 hours, so I only got to use half of my workday until I returned home to plug in into

Summary: All in all. a good disposable Mp3 player. Glad I didn't pay full price for it. The website is complete garbage. this is the 3rd time Memorex has let me down Never again avoid memorex like the plague.
you get what you pay for. Harbor freight should sell these.

"Nope, waste of energy" on by jhadam

    Pros: Records FM

    Cons: Player Freezes up

Summary: I like the function that it records FM... Thats about it. It would take too too long to boot up. The record button gets pressed easy and records at unwanted times. Connecting to computer is okay until the device freezes up. The buttons are hard to navigate. Sound was good Player in all was not so good.
