"A rare high score from me"5.0 starson by Milez5858
Pros: Looks, Battery Life, Screen size, XNA open develper game support
Cons: Needs more companies making accessories, more video formats should be supported
Summary: Since getting a Zune, my other popular player collects dust. I simply find the Zune to look and work better. I love the enertia scrolling off the pad. It gives scrolling a smooth feel. The wireless is nice to have, and will be really cool as games are developed for group play. I've alread seen a beta of an FPS. I don't know how the controls will feel, but what a great way to have an instant LAN party. This option simply isn't available anywhere else, and although it's not fully developed yet, you can see the potential here. I find the sync software easier to use than that other player and it does not have to convert all my music, although I prefer a simple hard drive icon in My Computer to simply copy songs. This can be done through some "hacks". Oh.. that's the other thing. Like most microsoft product, third party programmers create ways of doing things that Microsoft forgets. Those other players cannot do this. Music is DRM Free on ZuneMarketplace. You can use it on other players without using soon to be illegal DRM removal software. I've given a 10/10, but that's only because 9.5 isn't available, and 9 isn't high enough. If it supported more movie formats, it would get a 10. Having to convert AVI or MPG seems silly considering they are the most popular. However, at least Windows Movie Maker does this conversion without having to purchase 3rd party software.
