"Terrible bild quality"
Pros: it looks nice, sounds great
Cons: build quality is horrible
Summary: This is my letter to MPIO:
Mpio,
What is wrong with the HD400!! This is my second unit in only the last 2 months that has gone defective.
The problem with both are as follows......the slightly bump with the HD400 causes the display not to load up fully into the OS getting stuck at "Load Resource" No matter how many times of tried a reset with a paperclip NOTHING resolves the issue. Your advertisement states SOLD in every way but that couldn't be furthest from the truth. I can't have it wrapped in bubble wrap everywhere I go and it certainly has not been abused or dropped from 3 feet high either the unit does not have a scratch on it. So why is it soooooooo sensitive to the slightest impact? Tossing it on my bed from inches away caused first same error the second time it fell off a mini table about 9 inches high onto thick carpet!! Do you not have any quality control methods going on at Mpio...I can't believe I'm the only one.
Thankfully I purchased an extended warranty the replaced the entire unit and I won't need your services but I am writing to tell you that I will NEVER buy another Mpio unit EVER again. I owned a flash based player before 2GB and had to return that because the battery compartment slide was made out of plastic and the corner just chipped off and the door was no longer able to close making the unit inoperable, I returned that as well. Sorry but 3 strikes and you're out.
P.S. I am posting this identical complaint on www.cnet.com - www.pcworld.com - www.pcmag.com
One very, very disgruntled and unhappy customer.
