"Great cd player and highly reccomended for those who are still mind set in the discman era like me." on by mcroachy
Pros: small, light weight, sexy, long battery life, second to sony
Cons: better fitting in ear earphones :( or headphones
Summary: overall this cd walkman after coming back from the mp3 phase between 2005-2008. i am happy to say that this walkman is a treasure and outdoes MY mp3 which is a sony nh-w55 20gb hardrive mp3. a very stylish look about it, and very compact thinking with its design. i personally am still mind set with the discman era. sound quality of this thing is outstanding and the equiliser settings are very effective.
the body is half polycarbonate plastic(strong) and aluminium. the lid being aluminium and the unit body itself being polycarbonate. hence both make for a tough, strong discman that can handle a bit of rough and tough, such as being chucked haphassardly into a bag when on the move.
antiskip is flawless for its type and goes well with my jogging sets around the bush.
i give this little beauty AAA+++
plus they are harder to find now and most are second hand. mine is. and it was only owned by one prson and is still going strong after all these years LOL!
so for all you discman and cd walkman enthusiasts! Rock to the beats and peace out

"amazing reliable cd player" on
Pros: Crisp sound, in line remote, very small, rechargable batteries, great battery life, plays mp3/wma
Cons: Sometimes there will be a faint crackle in the sound (have tried many different pairs) Makes a beep which disrupts song when a button is pressed on the remote.

"Cost of Batteries!!!" on
Pros: Nice slim design good sound
Cons: Have you looked into the price of replacing the NI-MH rechargable battery?? $22.00 EACH about half the cost of the unit.

"Awsome, reliable CD/MP3 player!" on by ian209
Pros: Long battery life, slim design, great sound quality, high bass, plays all Mp3 CDs flawlessy.
Cons: Slim design sometimes causes CD to rub against the top.
Summary: I've had one of these AWSOME MP3/CD Players for 3 YEARS, and it still works fine. I've dropped it more than 20 times on the ground and not much is damaged. It's really scratched up and one of the buttons are shattered right now, but hey, thats my fault. Even with all of the beating I gave it, it still works fine. Much better than having an iPod!

"This player is great minus one kink" on
Pros: The player is thin, sleek, useful, veratile, well built, plays mp3pro without extra firmware, amazing lifespan, great earbuds
Cons: The thin metal is prone to bending on the cover YOU CAN'T FAST FORWARD IN MP3'S!!! Please take this in serious regard! You can only fast forward in normal cds. I didnt learn this until I read the manual!
