  • "Awful only one month and the power just stopped working"
    on by DLIND91724

    Pros this brand is cheap.

Cons i've never dropped it and take great care of it.

Summary next thing you know it won't turn on right after fully charging it.

  • "very simple & intuitive; fits in your smallest pocket"
    on by Trentnew

Pros albeit others' comments, I found the navigation really simple. I tried other players and was always confused with back and left keys. You navigate the song with up/down so it makes sense to use up/down for prev/next song.

Cons the indentation in the middle was a very stupid thing, but once you ignore it, it doesn't bother any more.
some features are confusing and seem repeated (e.g.back light, screen saver...).
    somewhat irritating animations

Summary it seems that the CNET editor got angry when using the product for the first time that ignore the easy of use of Vibe.
When I used it for the first time and when I was in the playback screen, I had only 2 keys left, so I tried down for next song and then thought how smart it is because in the list of songs I also press down for the next song.
I can easily use it with one hand, carry funny videos and photos to show to my friends at school and listen to my music.
For the price is a perfect combination and gift. Why pay so much money for other players when you just need something to listen to music!!

  • "Great for the price."
    on by Gsr2k6

Pros Great features for 50 bucks
    Very easy to use
    Sounds great
    Easy to add music

Cons Not many, but being able to choose the next song while one is playing would be nice, but its much outweighed by the pros.

Summary I think this is a great little mp3 player. I also think most of the reviews here are pretty dumb. Honestly, making such a big deal about the center indent? I lost faith in staff for being so frustrated with it. I think its handy, as my player is in my pocket most of the time and it makes it easy to find buttons. Most of the user reviews seem to be bad because of either user error or getting a lemon. If you get a faulty ipod does that make it a bad product? NO. It means you got a broken one, dont base your whole opinion on your not working product. The video playback is nice albeit limited, but whos going to watch videos on a inch big screen?

  • "Mixed Feelings..."
    on by lostinmexico

Pros The features are really great. Love the FM radio and the sound quality is decent. The voice recorder is actually very handy and easy to use.

Cons Usability is an issue. Buttons don't function the way you'd expect them to. My biggest problem has been programming glitches. Since I updated online, the thing is full of bugs. Features work and then stop working...very strange. Considering a refund.

Summary Despite usability issues. It's a good player for the money. The full screen allows for many more features and options than other simpler players might afford. The main issue I've had is the errors within the programming itself. Now, this is something that may have been caused by an incomplete update or any number of fixable things. That is the only reason why I'm not throwing in the towel on this player completely. All in all, if you're strapped for cash, go for it. If you can afford something in the next price bracket, go for something a little more expensive.

  • "Not horrible, but not exactly amazing."
    on by fruitegable

Pros It's cheap and the battery life is long. Folder View is also an interesting little touch.

Cons The only problem that really bugs me is it occasionally skips small parts of a song, and sometimes the song won't even play. The videos/photos are OK (although again, occasionally parts of a photo will be grey - why, I don't know) but the screen is a bit

Summary For something under 50$, it's pretty good. To me the audio skips can be fixed by re-downloading the song, so it isn't that much of a big deal. The buttons take some getting used to and get stuck once in a while, but that can be ignored. All in all, it's what you would expect for something under 50$.
