"I have the 5 gig H125 - Very good player" on by ambaneuf

Pros: Cheap/small enough in size and large enough in memory

Cons: blue screen but it's not that bad

Summary: I bought this to replace my Ipod nano video 4 gig that I put thru the washer and the dryer by mistake. While I loved my nano this little guy isn't too bad itself. It's not much to look at but does the job. Menu system, easy to use and you don't have to use itunes, I just use my windows media player. It's not as thin or as flashy but it's good enough until I can afford another nano.

"My opinion of the RCA H106" on by Brandon Vogt

    Pros: reliable, fun, fast loading

    Cons: only plays music

Summary: The RCA H106 is very reliable and fun to use. I really like how the screen looks, but it does get scratches really easy, so watch out for that.
On another note i am very devestated to hear about James kim's disaperance, even though hi family got rescued he hasnt yet, so he is in my prayers that he would be found safe and hopfully alive, here is a news reveiw on what happened: A San Francisco woman and her two children missing for more than a week were found Monday in a remote area of southern Oregon but the search continued for her husband, police said.

Search and Rescue officials in a helicopter spotted Kati Kim, 30, waving an umbrella at about 1:45. They also said they found daughters Penelope, 4, and Sabine, 7 months. They were airlifted to Three Rivers Community Hospital in Grants Pass.

There was no immediate word on their condition but reports are encouraging, according Oregon State Police.

The hospital would only confirm that the family was there and being treated.

Rescuers continued to look for 35-year-old James Kim. He had left on foot two days ago to seek help, police said.

The mother was found near the Rogue River in the area of Bear Camp Viewpoint, near the Curry and Josephine County line.

Additional search crews are being added to search for the father.

The Kims were vacationing in Pacific Northwest and were driving through Oregon on their way home to San Francisco. They were last seen at a Denny's in Roseburg on Nov. 25.

The Kim family was on the way to Gold Beach area to stay at the Tu Tu Tun Lodge, but they never arrived.

Bear Camp Viewpoint is at a high point in the southern Oregon Coast Range with a view of wilderness.

Roads through the area often are used as shortcuts to Gold Beach on the south Oregon coast, but can be impassible in the winter.

Authorities will be holding another press conference on Monday afternoon at 5 p.m.

FOX 12 and kptv.com will update as more information becomes available in this developing story.

"Great for what it does - play music" on by datarickl

Pros: stores lots of music; easy to use

Cons: monochrome screen, not user friendly for browsing music

Summary: My wife wanted me to get an iPod. I said for the money ($199 for a 2GB), I could get a lot more bang. I found it with the RCA H106. Sure it is monochrome, but I only listen to music, or books on cd. No need for color.

The menu can be changed to genre, album, artist, or song. However, if you turn it off and turn it on, you have to start over, or scroll thru the loooong list of music.

I currently am using 4 fo the 5.7 GB available and it is slightly under 1250 songs that I have cataloged on the device.

A nice investment for $169 is how I would categorize it.
