Summary: Wow! I found this little gem at Target. It’s a 5GB player that handles all my old mp3 files as well as the newer subscription based content from Yahoo! and Napster. I really love the control wheel, as well as the slick shape and feel of the player. It smoothly transfers my songs and playlists from the computer to the player and when I am ready to play them back; they are available sorted by Album, Artist, Song Title, and Genre. It has a lot of cool features as well, like displays the Album Artwork (I didn’t even know there was any until I got the player!) and some timers for sleep, and power save features. My kids have an iPod, and have quickly warmed up to this player. Apparently, they didn’t know what they were getting into with the iPod, except that everyone else had one, and you know the rest. Now my daughter wants a Lyra for her birthday. They have taught me a few tricks with this player. I give it a big thumbs up. (Just wish it had a carry case that I could control it through.) I have no idea what the previous reviewer gave this a 1. I give it a 9.5

Cons: A little slow at times, smudgy
Summary: I like this player alot - my friend has one and I was impressed - RCA usually makes worse-- but it was a little slow for my tastes
