"Returned iPod Mini same day purchased to get the Carbon"
Pros: Ease of ues, controls, volume, simple display, very user friendly functionality, Napster compatible, memory, price, no batteries!!, size, sound quality, weight
Cons: headphones came with sponge ends, used head phones from my Rio Cali, and I'm good to go.
Summary: I thought I wanted an iPod Mini until I actually used it. What a hassle. I should've know better than to go against my experience with my Rio Cali. The only reason I wanted another MP3 player was because of the memory.
I thought Apple could stear me in the right direction. I was wrong. The Mini went back the same day I bought it, and was replaced with the Carbon Pearl. Should have just done that in the first place.
It has all of the features of the Cali I loved, plus a ton of memory. One of the best parts is NO MORE BATTERIES!
This player leaves iPod in the dust! I can't wait to use it on a bike ride, securely restrained of course.Updated
After three weeks with the Pearl, I'd definitely upgrade my rating to a 10 out of 10. It has been awesome, and works great with the iRiver FM transmitter I got for my car.
