    Pros: See below.

    Cons: See below.

Summary: Donald Bell should be let go after this horrible overview of an mp3 player. Comparisons made to tablet or smartphones should not belong. And if you want to argue that point, the same can be said for an ipod touch. I'll admit parental controls would have been a great addition, but that would be one of few oversights. An ipod touch in my opinion has a few cons than the player including a Chrome backing prone to scratches and finger prints, no removable battery, no memory expansion, and mediocre still image quality. Yet it gets an outstanding rating, while this galaxy player manages only a "good" rating? honest shopper beware. Try not to be brainwashed by this sad excuse of a review.

    i have two questions...
    First...
is the touch as much, price-wise, as the galaxy? NO!
bell said you can get something as good as the galaxy
    at a LOWER price!!!
    Yeah RIGHT! (sarcastic)
    second...
is there ANY other MULTI-media devices LIKE
the galaxy that is as GOOD as the galaxy? NO!
    DO NOT listen to bell.
He needs let go of this review
and put onto things he can be HELPFUL on... sheesh!

This review is a joke and a study in spin. He coddles the touch while comparing the Galaxy to products completely outside of its target audience...

Well done CNET!... Its like a Fox News review of Dems vs. Repubs

Lets get this staight, my review was by comparison of two products in the same category. There is no fixation with the ipod, but showing that there are flaws in the player that CNET and Donald Bell covet. I understand that this review is very onesided, and makes the product seem poor when it is actually a great alternative to ipod. Not only that, but if u read the other review for apple's mp3 player there is no mention of tablets or phones as alternatives. And so u know, I own a tablet and a Droid incredible, so there is no bias when I say this review sucks.

Err, which part didn't you understand? The video is poor and the audio is muddy. He says this product is pointless - if you want this get a phone that is the same price and has additional features (and usually FAR better video and audio).

Want video? Try the Nook (I have no idea - not seen one here in the UK)

For a kid? (Hence the phone is a bad idea) Then the lack of parental controls make this unsuitable.

Just because you WANT to like it, doesn't make it a good product.

What is amazing is YOU are fixated on the iPod touch. He suggest another product category (Android smartphones) and the Nook.

    So who's biased?

Even better yet, today they have one of the top headlines saying "Samsungs anwser to the ipod touch" and it goes to the review of the 5" model. How about apples to apples with the 4" so users see that and then are alerted to the 5" as an option. Donald you look really bad in this review. I am really going to question anything you put out after this.
