Great Player Great Warranty, Future Napster to Go Support
Pros: Battery Life is Great, Samsung's support is not greedy, will give you 2 months leeway if your product breaks out of warranty, also battery replacements only $8 instead of $80 like on IPod.
Cons: FM Transmitter works like a cat playing a guitar. Easy to loose antenna stub, slow transfer speeds of Napster Music.

second best after the ipod.
Pros: decent sound, lots of memory, very easy to transfer music onto, relatively easy to navigate, FM radio and transmitter, voice recorder.
Cons: scroller is annoyingly slow, ugly design, no games like in the ipods, not very sturdy (mine went kaput one day because it fell from my desk and would not turn on, so i had to get it serviced.)

Pretty good player, great sound
Pros: Great sound, lots of storage space, ok design, battery life is sufficient.
Cons: Setting up play list and putting music on the device via napster site is kinda frustrating at first.

Sketchy
Pros: The FM transmitter is great, and I easily organized my MP3s with the program.
Cons: Product freezes regularly, and quits working as an MP3 player at about 70% capacity. However, it will still function as an external HD.

Its not *that* bad.
Pros: Firstly, let me set the record straight. You do not need the bundled napster software in order to load songs onto this machine. Many reviews claim that you do. The manual pretty much claims that this is the only way, its not a manual really but an advert
Cons: A few cons, i'll try to be be too harsh. 1, The look of thing, i've already mentioned this. If the specs or the price are more important than the looks not a bad choice. 2, Unintuitive means of file searching. Moving through the menu you use a square butt

Good Tech Support. Poor quality software
Pros: Responsive Tech support.
Cons: Seems the program to load the device crashes when loading too many mp3 files. Also, the need to constantly connect to napster to copy mp3 files from your own hard drive is inconvenient -- loading the device takes DAYS.

Pros: It has a lot of great features, whether or not you can get them to work is another story.
Cons: The FM transmitter is garbage. The FM tuner is garbage. The Drive itself starting skipping after a few months. I had it for 10 months and it no longer works at all. The firmware posted on the Samsung site totally wrecked the thing. I formatted it and

It's OK ...not great...could be much better
Pros: The 20GB HDD makes it a decent sized data storage device. Its size is good, but a smaller one would be nicer. I bought mine in Ebay for $200 (brand new), so I have no cost/benefit complaints. You can pause a playing song but you can't stop it (as to sele

Amazing Player With Awesome Features; But there are software bugs that need to be taken care of
Pros: FM Transmitter Works Well on any radio with an FM tuner. Sound quality is good. Contrary to popular belief, there is a way to play all your songs at once.
Cons: Many software bugs I had to work out before it worked properly. Scrolling is not very efficient.

Better then that stupid IPOD
Pros: This mp3 player comes with more accessories then the ipod dose. And is a lot cheaper. I think it is a lot easyer to use, with or with out napster. With 20gb how can you go wrong. Get this Mp3 player if you know what is good for you.
Cons: The radio sucks.

Not all that dependable.
Pros: Packed with features.
Cons: Our Best Buy had 2 - one open box and one new. I bought the new. Got home, wouldn't work upon start and then wouldn't shut off without safety-pin reset. Was "locked" even when unlocked. Never got it working. Total piece.

One Ugly Player
Pros: great features like line in recording. Has great storage capacity. If you have napster this is the way to go!
Cons: Poor design. When you look at this against the Ipod its a total mismatch. The carrying case supplied also has no belt clip. Lastly the remote control is very heavy and often rips the earbud headphones out of you ear.

Great features don't beat poor quality
Pros: I really enjoyed the line-in recording and fm radio both of which you can't get with an iPod. Then 20 gigs is a decent amount of space, although it's not enough space for me anyway.
Cons: Many ... i've had my Napster player for 6 months and have had to get it replaced twice because of malfunctions. Once you start to reach the limit it becomes very sensitive and sort of 'freaks out' very easily and freezes, etc. i was also dissappointed wit

Don't buy, lots of hidden gotchas!
Pros: USB 2.0 transfers, nice display screen, pretty darn light, Napster software is nice. This product exceeds the iPod specs. Decent storage for the same price. Specs aren't everything, however. The devil is in the details.
Cons: I could not wait to purchase this project, which I did in November of 2003 as I wanted an ipod competitor. Well, I can say now after having this for eight months that it was a complete waste of money. Product returned to Samsung twice. Once for firmware r

Decent Player and Alternative to Ipod
Pros: Decent storage for the price, clean sound. Also, unlike a few folks, I like that it hooks up to Napster and not Itunes. Itunes is great and all, I originally was going to buy an Ipod... but the program just seemed to fight me at every turn. I had trouble
Cons: I have only found three negatives to this device in my ownership. First, and the one that bothers me the most, is the battery life. The package says 10 hours but at best I have been able to gleen maybe 4 tops. I followed all the initial startup and chargi

Pros: It is about $50 to $100 cheaper than the IPOD 20G... it has a swank outer design

Pros: I bought this thing for $215 on ebay brand new. I only use Windows Media player to download songs to my PC then I copy them to the YP-910, I don't use the Napster software at all and it works great. I have about 1000 songs on it now and still have 16GiG

Pros: This player is def. going to revolutionize mp3 players forever! It has lots of great features that I'll admit are hard to get used to. But after about 2 days of usage you will LOVE IT! And its pretty Tiny!!
Cons: Uploading/Downloading to the Napster interface is kind of tricky, I won't lie. But once you get a hang on it, you'll see how intuitive this player is. I would recommend buying from Circuit City, BestBuy, etc to get warrenty.

Nice, but not Slick
Pros: It's certainly a nice little gadget to own, but it has too many feutres. Looks cool I suppose, but not very slick, unlike the iPod which is very slick. Bottom line, I'll stick with the iPod, for the same price, the iPod is a lot more exclusive.
Cons: None at the moment.

get an iPod
Pros: not alot
Cons: The price is analygous to the ipod yet the controls and buttons are counter-intuative. As for aesthetics , the iPod wins again. The ipod also has cool games and is a lot more sturdy feeling than this plastic crap. The ipod also has not moving parts

I waited for nothing.
Pros: FM transmission sounds good on paper. "Napster ready" sounds good on paper.
Cons: FM transmission is weak at best. If you're in a big city with a lot of radio stations this will not work. "Napster ready" means you need to use Napster to upload your music to the player. Even though the player appears as a hard drive on your system a

It's cool
Pros: FM transmitter works great with the home stereo. Big enough to hold all of my music. Nap-ware is intuitive.
Cons: FM transmitter is hit and miss with car stereos. Works in the Toyota and not the well in the GM. Also, need to be able to create lists directly on the player.

Very Sleek but pricy
Pros: I really like the look and feel of this unit. It lights up blue, a big plus, and stays lit for a user set period of time. It is very sleek with easy to maneuver throughout the menus except that random and repeat are a few menus away. This item sound very
Cons: The Yepp had alot of features but for $400 it was a bit pricy. The hard drive is only 20 gig. Nice case but no clip, belt loop only. FM radio is much quiter at full volume than an mp3.

FM Transmission does not work that great
Pros: Decent amount of storage space, and a fairly compact design.
Cons: FM transmission did not work so well in my car. Sound quality is poor (especially with a high-end sound system). The digital back light is somewhat dim/washed out and hard to read in the car at night. The file system, song lists, etc. have to be manage

It's jam packed and looks swanky
Pros: I just tested it today. For the same price as this new YP-910, you can get an iPOD with ......20 GBs, that's it. Oh, I almost forgot, and you can look like a total poser too. VS. This YP-910, however, has the 20GBs, an FM transmitter (which i was able
Cons: Nav is limited, but it seems to be industry wide. Plus, if you have a bad car stereo, the reception isn't the best. Finally, it is only supported by Windows 2000 and XP. Those people still using Windows 95 on the PI with a 14" monitor might have to fin
