"LOVE MY PEBBLE!" on by songsandstars
Pros: Sound quality is astounding! Very light weight. Barely notice it. Lanyard design is nice so you don't have a bunch of extra cord flopping around when you workout/run. Nice when you lift weights cause it doesn't have the arm band to constrict you.
Cons: Maybe a video screen (which would defeat the prupose of this unit)? Earbuds are a bit big for ears. I bought extra foam pads and double them up and that fixed it for me. Jabra gels might work too???
Summary: I love this thing because it's lighter and more ergonomic than my shuffle was. I loved my little green shuffle, til this came along. Brother gave it to me for Christmas and ended up putting my shuffle in a drawer. This is easier to control when running since the controls are near my chest rather than my arm, it's less constricting if you lift weights and quite frankly it's just all together more ergonimcal. Sound is great, battery life is AWESOME, it's samller than the palm of my hand, and it does everything through the audio jack (charge, transfer data via the USB adapter, etc...). I even use this for school to hold some of my files (so I guess it can double as a flash/jump drive too). I can carry the whole "kit" for it in my pocket with room to spare. I can use the USB interface and sudio jack for the iPod/USB jack in my car too. Bottom line is: Great design, great quality (duh, it's Samsung). Happy to have found this gem of gadget. :-)
