"a solid flash-based mp3 player" on by mtbtylor
Pros: loaded with features, aluminum construction, great sound
Cons: limited storage capacity
Summary: I bought this several months before my 5th gen iPod (which i love) and believe it or not i still use it frequently because i can store files in it (which is better at this than the ipod since its small and comes with a direct-connect USB plug). and i can also use it to record voice notes and radio. now i dont know why CNET said :"goes to sleep too quickly" for the review, if they had played with it a little more, they would have figured out that if they set the sleep timer to "0 sec.", the thing wont go to sleep at all; then they said :"tiny Mode button" and that shouldnt be a problem for most unless youve got huge thich monster hands. and about it not having rechargeable batteries, most flash mp3 players not have them so that really shouldnt b a 'con' , it would a nice addition but if not, i live with, it lasts me up to 16 hours. it would be nice if it was expandable though, 256 MB is not big enough now adays.
and it does not need an adapter for the USB: if you want the cable, plug right in; and if you want the direct-connect one, plug it right in as well. no need for an adapter for either one.
this player is kind of all but is still very competitive with a lot of the ones that have recently com out, so i still recommend it. -
"plenty of features but limited storage" on by jwang1229
Pros: mp3 encoding, radio tuner, voice recording, srs wow audio effects
Cons: bulky, no rechargeable battery, packaged components easy to lose
Summary: It has a good set of features but the design is bulky and the custom cables are easy to lose. Although it lasts 15hrs with a AAA battery, you have to replace the battery when it dies or invest in rechargeable ones that don't last as long. The menu's a takes a bit of getting used to, but it has a wide variety of settings available.

Although it would be nice to be able to post pictures to the web from a camera, it would make the camera took bulky if it had any features to actually justify the incorporation of wi-fi. If it's just for synchronization purposes with a computer, bluetooth would probably be better. There's just not much point in wi-fi in a camera. -
"Fully Loaded MP3 Player." on
Pros: Features: 1) track search (RW & FF through a track). 2) FM radio. 3) FM presets. 4) voice recording. 5) radio recording. 6) doubles as a portable USB drive. 7) convenient USB dongle (more compact than carrying the whole USB cable around with you). 8)
Cons: Not expandable!! The case that comes with it is utterly useless, the earphones are cheap and the batteries are not rechargeable. An AC adapter would be handy too, but that's not exactly standard.

"Good features, flaky interface" on
Pros: The sound quality is pretty good, although the earbuds that come with it are not the greatest. The ease of use regarding transfer of files is really good - just plug it in and copy, no driver required!
Cons: The problems start with the player's interface. First of all it's not really intuitive, and thus requires some manual reading. Second, the button used to access the menu functions is really small and, at least on mine, would not respond reliably. Wouldn't
