"Superb player with minor song title annoyances."
Pros: Compact, sleek case, awesome LCD, great sound, long battery life.
Cons: Strange song title issue, Cannot transfer songs in CD order or playlist order.
Summary: Wow! I love this player! I spent a lot of time researching and finally purchased it about two months ago. And I haven't been disappointed. It's a great conversation starter as I always have envious eyes peering over my shoulder when I take it out of my bag. And while I have read that others think it is a little delicate - I throw it in my bag everday w/o incident. I leave the belt slide on it which may give it the extra support. It has a metal sliding loop at the top which jiggles and makes a faint tinny sound - which may be why some people question its durability. Don't worry - the loop has no effect on the sound of the player - which is outstanding. The battery life is great -I use it daily and only have to recharge it every 3-4 weeks. Transferring songs is dummy proof and takes minimal time.
One thing that bugs me about the player is the fact that you cannot transfer songs in the order you want. The only way to override this is by going into each song title and adding a number to the beginning of each title.
The other issue is that if the song is not in WMA format - it has a display flaw. When you look at the song title in the navigation tool or when it is "on deck" to be played - it is not a problem. However, when it is the current song being played, the song info is not recognized... Just make sure to keep all transferred songs in WMA format and it is a non-issue.
No player is perfect -- but this one tries pretty hard to get there -- and makes it pretty hard to resist it! Get this player if you want a cool looking gadget that lives up to its potential.
