"Fantastic mp3 player, horrible software"
Pros: FM Tuner, Voice Recorder, Video player, Sound, screen etc.
Cons: Sync software, proprietary cable, no wall charger, finger-print magnet
Summary: This is a fantastic mp3 player, no doubt about it. It has a beautiful, but small, screen, nice graphics/navigation, video playback (although watching video on this player is awkward) and the photos look pretty nice as well. On top of all that, you have an FM tuner and a voice recorder.

What is NOT so nice is the software it came with. I was so fed up with how it tried to connect with the player, i ended up uninstalling the Samsung media player and ended up using Windows Media Player. From there on, it was so easy, it made me laugh.
The other thing about this player is the packaging, it looks unusually similar to that of the iPod's. Seriously, look at it side beside, it even opens up like the iPods.
But that aside, this is a fantastic player. As for the media manager, dont even bother installing the software. Plug the .mp3 player and Windows XP installs it for you quick and just use Windows Media Player (or any other of your choice).

I agree with mrk087's review entirely, however I feel it should be mentioned that one of the purposes of the included software is to format video files for the player. The software will automatically change video files to .svi and change their frame rate for optimized playback and a smaller file size. At first it wouldn't convert my .mp4 files but I just downloaded a codec and it works flawlessly.
