    "AWESOME PLAYER overall!"

    by radioman 3 on October 13, 2006

Pros: Navigation & tactile feel, screen, size, Sound

    Cons: FM radio is average

Summary: This player is simply AMAZING.I've had a ton of MP3 players..the Nano..the Cowon U3, The Sony Flash player, Iriver and tried the Creative Zen plus. Wow..overall this Samsung is just in a different league. I wanted to step up to a 4gig flash..so first because of reviews I tried the Creative Zen plus. I had read how it feels toy like..in a good way? NO WAY. It feels like a cheap slippery toy. The buttons were uncomfortable..the screen in any kind of sunlight looked dim..and it barely got loud enough.Out of desperation I returned the Creative player..picked up the T9 Samsung..fell in love (**). I was expecting to NOT like it. I figured since Samsung seems to put out a player it seems every 90 days this player..well might be junk. WRONG..It has a feel and look of superior qulity to it. The screen looks awesome at night, day,and in bright sunshine. It FEELS comfortable..almost scary comfortable to navigate. Sounds excellent..has a NINE band EQ that really works adding NO distortion unlike the Ipod's eq. I had a Cowon U3 I just sold. Cowon is noted 4 it's sound..and abilty to play LOUD. This Samsung plays louder staying clean..and well I'm just sort of blown away by this little guy. If CNET or whoever dares to rate the Creative Zen plus higher than the T9 It's time to leave the planet. I hear in Asia this player features bluetooth. Well too bad it doesn't have bluetooth BUT there's no reason to knock this player because it has no bluetooth yet. This Samsung is in another class high above the plastic Creative..and the U3 who's screen u need a microscope to see.
Only the FM radio is just OK..works fine..but no better or worse than other current mp3 players. I think anyone why tries this player will really enjoy it!

I couldn't agree with you any more! This flash player is amazing and is WAY better than the iPod. Me personally, I think that the iPod is overrated just because it is an Apple. Samsung pulled it off with this very nice and sleak MP3 player, I LOVE IT!
