"Piece of Junk, but nice form factor."
Pros: Small, FM Tuner, cost for size/memory
Cons: FM Tuner sound went out after two weeks and the replacement one also broke within two weeks.
Summary: I purchased a 4G Click in Oct 2008 to replace the Sony MP3 that I lost. Did my research and like the form factor, memory size and cost ($80). After two weeks of minimal use (work out 3-4 times a week) the FM Tuner sound did not work even though when I changed to the MP3 songs, I could hear my music. Took back to Best Buy and got a replacement one. Now the same thing has happened again. Still can not hear the FM Tuner sound in my headphone even though I can hear the MP3 songs. Very disappointed with this Sansa Clip for what seems to be poor quality.
Updated on Nov 26, 2008OK, I give this product 5 STARS. My reason for giving a previous bad review was what a thought was a quality issue.
NOTE: When put the FM Tuner on "HOLD", it will stay on HOLD even if you turn the unit off. It makes you think that the FM Tuner is broken, but you just have to hit the upper (pause) button for the sound to return to your headphones. Why they did not just "Reset" the unit once you power off and back on, I don't know, but the way the "pause" functions makes it look like the unit is Broken, when it is not.
Now that I am learning all the 'quirks' of this product, it a very good product with very nice features for most users.
Updated on Dec 23, 2008I rate the Clip FIVE STARS even thought my early rating I can not change.....
