SanDisk Sansa Clip Zip (blue, 4GB)

Pros: Great sound quality for the price
Great versatility

Cons: Lack support of online services like Spotify or Deezer. It wasn't really an issue when the first Sansas came around, but it really starts to be one now, with changes in music consumption

Summary: Great MP3 player for the price. It is just straight to the point: not really fancy but plays almost any music format and with GREAT quality. It basically sounds 3 times better than my iPhone 4.

One should obviously not compare it to high-end products given the price tag, but it still sounds better than the last iPods, iPhones, and any other smartphone and MP3 player below $200 I tried. You of course have to get rid of the ear-buds that comes with it though (just like any other MP3 player anyway). I just miss the support for services like Spotify...
